ZTE Axon 11 5G
The Asian phone maker, ZTE has unveiled it mid-range but yet amazing 5G enabled device, the ZTE Axon 11 5G.
The smartphone retains some of the signature aspects of the Axon branding, like the decent display specification, camera, and other features
Design and Display
The ZTE Axon 11 5G does well in its modern chassis design.
It is built with aluminum frame while the front and back are made out of glass material
Upfront is a 6.47-inch Full HD+ curved 3D AMOLED display with a u-shaped notch housing a front-facing camera.
This smartphone measures 159.2 x 73.4 x 7.9 mm dimensions with a screen resolution of 1080 X 2340 pixel and a density of 398 ppi.
On the rear, is a square box enclosing a sets of four cameras and an LED flash, the Axon 5G branding and also the ZTE branding, are sited at the left corner.
Other features includes HDR support, 90Hz refresh rate, 100,000:1 contrast and Under-display fingerprint scanner.
It is available in laser black and pearl white colour options.
The device is equipped with an arsenal of cameras that are capable of allowing users creatively capture moments.
You’ve got a pental camera system comprising of four cameras on the rear and a single camera up-front.
The smartphone boasts a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64MP “super HD” sensor, alongside an 8MP ultrawide shooter, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera.
Selfies are executed on a single 20MP water-drop notch for taking selfie’s and video calling.
The camera features such as 4K 60fps video and real-time 4K HDR video recording, 4K live streaming, video-stabilization for the rear camera, coupled with a 7-level AI beautification solutions for both the cameras.
Hardware and Software
In comparison to it’s predecessor, it’s only logical you would expect to have high-end chipset, but the reverse this case here.
As part of the company’s plan to make it a more affordable 5G Android phone, the smartphone offers mid-range specs.
Instead of opting for the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with a separate 5G modem, the company settled for the competitive mid-power Snapdragon 765G with 5G support seen in Nokia 8.3 5G and Oppo Reno 3 Pro.
It also feature an Octa-core processor, Adreno 620 GPU, and runs on MiFavor 10 user interface on top Android 10 operating system.
It boast of a 6GB/8GB of RAM with an internal memory of 128GB or 256GB storage. The internal memory is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
The smartphone connectivity includes 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C port.
It is powered by a 4000 mAh Li-ion battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support.
ZTE Axon 11 5G Price and Availability
The ZTE Axon 11 5G price starts around $383, which is about 140,561 Nigerian Naira, 40,560 Kenyan shillings and, 2,237 Ghana cedi.
The smartphone was announced on March 23, 2020, and is currently available for purchase.
