Vivo X50 Lite Smartphone

Vivo has announced it’s Vivo X50 Lite which is the budget arm of the X50 series. The smartphone is the proposed Vivo S1 Pro that was announced last year in China.

The smartphone is packed with exciting features which includes a 6.38-inch AMOLED Display, great cameras, enough inbuilt storage, and also a massive battery as well.

Design and Display

The Vivo X50 Lite displays as a rebranded version of the Vivo Y9S.

It displays a Corning Gorilla display at the front and a plastic back fitting into it’s plastic frame.

The rear feature a diamond shaped camera module housing the camera matrix, an LED flash and the brand name.

The handset comes with a 6.38 inch Super AMOLED display technology coupled with a waterdrop notch, a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a density of 404 PPI. It display is smaller than the 6.56 inch on Vivo X50.

It measures 159.3 x 75.2 x 8.7 mm in dimensions weighing 186.7 grams and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Other features includes an under-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock

The smartphone is available in Nebula Blue and Jade Black color options.


The mid-range smartphone is gifted with an impressive camera setup.

On the rear is a quad camera setup with a 48MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultrawide camera, plus a 2MP macro camera and finally a 2MP depth sensor.

The device is capable of shooting a 2k video and1080p at 30fps coupled with LED flash, HDR and panorama mode.

The waterdrop notch houses a 16MP selfie shooter capable of shooting 1080p video at 30fps with HDR mode feature.

Hardware and Software

The smartphone boast of an Octa core (2 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 260 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 260) processor that is oiled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Chipset coupled with Adreno 610 graphic processor while it’s premium variant, X50 pro packs an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset

On the Software, the smartphone runs on its Funtouch 10.0 user interface on top Android 10 operating system.


The Vivo X50 Lite comes with a 8GB of RAM paired to an Internal Memory (ROM) of 128GB. The storage space can be expanded using the shared SIM slot on the inside.


As for the connectivity options, it dual-SIM support 4G LTE network, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm audio jack but no NFC like the realme 6i.


The Vivo X50 Lite is backed by a large 4500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Vivo X50 Lite Price and Availability

The Vivo X50 Lite is now available for purchase with a price tag of about 300 EUR. In Nigeria, the price of Vivo X50 Lite will sell around 130,000 Naira, 2,000 Ghs in Ghana and 35,000 Ksh in Kenya.
