Realme X2 Pro Specs

The Realme X2 Pro is the company’s first proper flagship smartpone and a more premium variant of the Realme X2 smartphone.

The premium mid-range smartphone offers an exciting top specs at an insane price which features a top tier hardware, excellent display, awesome cameras and a fast charging technology.

Design and Display

The Realme X2 Pro sport a premium body built with a 3D Gorilla glass at the front and back with a metal frame sandwich. It has an aluminum frame.

The curve glossy glass back panel features a centrally placed camera housing paired with an LED flash and the brand name just beneath it.

With a refresh rate of 90Hz, it displays a 6.5 inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen that offers a 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution, 1000nits of brightness, has HDR10+ support and a teardrop cut out notch for it’s front facing camera.

The smartphone measures 161 x 75.7 x 8.7 mm in dimensions with a weight of 199 grams and an aspect ratio of 20:9.

Other features includes a in-display fingerprint scanner, DCI-P3 color gamut, 2000000:1 contrast ratio.

The regular edition comes in Neptune Blue and Lunar White while the Master Edition is available in Red Brick and Concrete colour.


The camera quality is similar to the ones on Redmi K20 Pro and the OnePlus 7T smartpones.

On the rear, the camera boasts of the world’s first 64MP ISOCELL GWI sensor which is pixel-binned down to 16MP by default

The other three cameras includes an 8MP ultrawide angle lens with 115-degree field-of-view, a 13MP telephoto lens with f/2.5 aperture with support for 2x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom and lastly is a 2MP depth sensor for portrait photos

The rear camera is packed with alot of versatility capable of shooting 4K video at 30fps/60fps, 1080p at 120fps, 720 slow-mo at 960fps, EIS, bokeh effect and super Night mde and super macro mode. It also feature HDR mode for photos.

The tear-drop cut out notch houses a 16MP front facing camera for video calling and selfies.

Hardware and Software

The Realme X2 Pro is driven by a 2.96GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset along with an Adreno 640 GPU.

It’s vapor chamber system and tactile engine motor allows for heat dissipation heat and better vibration while gaming.

Realme X2 Pro runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system which is now upgraded to Android 10 and Realme’s custom UI 1.1 on top, which is a slightly customised version of Oppo’s ColorOS 6.1.


It comes in 6/8/12GB of LPDDR4x RAM paired with 64GB/128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 in-built storage but no microSD slot for further expansion.


The Realme X2 Pro connects on 4G VoLTE network with a Wi-Fi 802.11ac, dual-band GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB-C, and 3.5mm head jack.


The Realme X2 Pro is fuelled by a non-removable battery capacity of 4,000mAh which charge exceeding fast with it’s 50W SuperVOOC flash charger.

Though no wireless charging, the 50W SuperVOOC power brick and cable can juice it’s battery from 0-100% in 30 minutes in optimal conditions, which is certainly faster than the 5W charger offered as standard with the iPhone 11and Galaxy Note 10

Realme X2 Pro Price and Availability

The price of Realme X2 Pro is now available for purchase at about $417 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM. The 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage cost about $473, while the Master Edition goes for $486.

In other climes, the Realme X2 Pro will start around 165,000 Naira in Nigeria, 2,500 Ghs in Ghana and 45,000 Ksh in Kenya.
