Realme brings in the Realme 6 Pro which is the premium sibling of the standard Realme 6. The smartphone tags as the first smartphone in India to be equipped with the Snapdragon 720G chipset.

Design and Display
Like it’s siblings, Realme has always done an incredible job of updating it designs while keeping a sense of familiarity across every successive product generation.
Unlike it’s younger sibling, the build elements is a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 front and back which is scratch proof sandwiched by a plastic frame.
The gradient design rear panel looks elegant and eye-catching with a line of four cameras housed within an island and an LED flash beside it. At the bottom of the rear panel is the brand name indicating it’s a Realme smartphone.
Flipping to the front is a slight larger 6.6-inch Full HD+ display, with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 Pixels and a density of 399 PPI.
The display boast of a 90Hz refresh rate and a dual punch-hole cut out at the top left corner which easily differentiates it from it’s siblings.
Elsewhere, it side mounted fingerprint scanner integrates into the power button on the right side while the body measures 163.8 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm dimensions.
The device is available in two colour options comprising of Lightning Blue and Lightning Orange.
The Realme 6 Pro made some adjustments to the camera spec sheet as opposed to what we saw on the standard variant with it’s depth camera replaced with a telephoto camera.
The quad-rear-camera setup offers an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 13MP 2x telephoto lens that can go up to 20x using a hybrid zoom, as well as a dedicated 2MP macro camera in addition to the main 64MP Samsung GW1 shooter that pixel-bins images down to 16MP to improve image quality.
The rear camera setup captures up to 4K at 30fps as well as HDR and Panorama mode for photos
The dual punch-hole cut-out manned a 16MP primary selfie camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide shooter with a 105-degree field-of-view.
Hardware and Software
The Realme 6 Pro ditches the MediaTek processor in it’s less premium sibling for Qualcomm chipset which makes up for a much faster mid-range Android Phone.
The smartphone is the first smartphone in India to be facilitated by the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdgron 720G chipset which is paired with an Adreno 618 GPU.
On the software is Realme’s user interface, Realme UI running on the Android 10.0 operating system.
The storage comes in 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM 4GB paired to either 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage with an additional slot for expansion.
It connectivity is similar to what we saw on the less premium sibling with no NFC but got a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-Type C port, dual-WiFi band and a 4G LTE connectivity.
Realme 6 Pro is equipped with a 4300mAh battery with support for 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charge technology out-of-the-box.
Realme 6 Price and Availability
The Realme 6 Pro is available at leading online stores and the price starts around $238 for the base 6GB/64GB variant, which cost about 87,346 in Nigeria Naira, 25,232 Kenyan shillings, 1,337 Ghana Cedi.
