Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G Specs and Price
Oppo released the most premium variant of the Reno4 series, the Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G.
Owing to the fact that the Reno4 series are mid-rangers, Oppo decided to spice things up a little by incorporating some flagship features it.
Interestingly, oppo included a curved display, which makes it the first Reno series to acquire such feature, a revamped rear design, super fast charging and lot more
With all these hype, is it enough to truly rise above the rest? We take a deep drive to find out.
Design and Display
The OPPO Reno4 Pro 5G definitely stands out at least from its backside, though the designs are similar Reno4 5G.
The chassis makeup comprises of an aluminum frame sandwiching the Gorilla Glass 6 front and rear.
The back panel debut an embossed “Reno Glow” logo on it’s anti-glare matte finish which makes the rear cover completely fingerprint-free, wear-resistant and less slippery compared to ordinary AG glass.
The rear panel setup is similar to it’s les premium 5G variant having a camera bump housing an LED flash and triple cameras, and the brand name below, Indicating its an Oppo smartphone.
From the intro, it surprisingly received a curved display with 90Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ which adds fluidity and a sense of luxury.
Rather than the dual camera cut-out on it’s less premium model, the phone sports a single camera cutout display which comes a shocker to tech enthusiast.
It is available in Black, White, Blue, Pink, Green colourways
The Optics spec comes with some upgrades on its triple rear camera setup. The 48MP Sony IMX708 main shooter this time got an OIS on it.
Thanks to it’s 4-in-1 pixel-binning, which produces 12MP photos with more detail than a normal 12MP sensor.
While the Reno4 5G got an 8 ultra-wide shooter, the Reno4 pro 5G variant packs a 12MP ultra-wide low-light sensor and a 13MP telephoto camera.
Surprisingly, Oppo moved the dual selfie camera setup on the less premium version to a single shooter which is a 32MP shooter.
Hardware and Software
The hardware spec sheet is similar to that of its less premium 5G sibling. The only difference is the addition of a 12GB RAM model.
It rocks the Octa-core snapdragon 765G alongside an Adreno 620 GPU which runs smoothly with no hiccups.
The ColorOS 7.2 skin runs on top of the Android 10 OS.
Rather than a single RAM option of 8 RAM on either 128GB, or 256GB of built-in storage, it got an additional 12GB RAM option and no card support.
The Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G is a dual-SIM 5G enabled phone alongside a USB Type C Port NFC, dual-band Wi-FI and Bluetooth 5.1.
Unlike most smartphones, the killer feature is not in its cameras or it hardwares spec sheet. It selling point is the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charging support on its 4000 mAh.

The Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G is available and it’s price starts around $526, which is about 203,437 Nigerian Naira, 3,042 Ghanian Cedi.
