Infinix has unveiled the latest low budget member to its Note 7 series, the Infinix Note 7 Lite.

Though alike in many ways with the regular Infinix Note 7, they also little disparity as a measure of it price tag.

Let’s check out the specs, price and review of the Infinix Note 7 Lite.

Design and Display

The Infinix Note 7 Lite design bears similarities with the standard Infinix Note 7 which is an upgrade of it’s predecessor Infinix Note 6.

It feature a side-mounted fingerprint and face unlock just like the Note 7.

Same design pattern with psychedelic display like the Note 7 series but differ in it’s display size and it’s camera arrangement.

Upfront, is a 6.6 inch HD+ Infinity-O IPS LCD display which is 0.35 smaller than its siblings and a punch hole camera cut-out, promises for an all-around immersive experience.

The smartphone measures a dimension of 165.8 x 76.8 x 8.7 mm, weighs 185 grams with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 and a pixel density of 266PPI.

The smartphone is available in dark Grey, Violet and Forest Green.

On the rear, it packed a quad-camera encased inside a block, in a manner that resembles that of the Infinix Hot 9 but this comes with Quad-LED flash.

The camera arrangements and different screen size coupled with a shift in the branding name position from center to the left position.

The Cameras

The cameras of the Note 7 Lite takes after it siblings. Both rear cameras bear the same sensors, however, there is a drop in the pixel size of the selfie shooter.

Same Quad AI cameras, featuring 48MP wide primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth camera and another QVGA camera, dedicated for low light photos like the Note 7.

The depth sensor shoots a blur free while the micro camera captures all the details even in low light.

This camera setup is capable of shooting photos in HDR, Panorama and also videos capped at 1080p at 30 frames per second.

The selfie camera comes with an 8MP front-facing punch-hole camera as opposed to the 16MP camera on the Note 7. This camera can shoot 1080p videos quality at 30fps.

Hardware and Software

The hardware and software are the same for the Note 7 series, the only difference is the absence of 6GB model. It’s like purchasing the 4GB/64GB model of the Note 7 series.

Like it’s siblings Infinix Note 7 Lite is powered by the same 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTekHelio G70 processor and same Mali-G52 2EEMC2 graphics processing unit assisted by a only 4GB of RAM configuration.

It runs on Android 10.0 O.S. on top XOS 6.0 user interface like it’s siblings.


It bags only 64GB of internal storage which can further expanded via a microSD card with a dedicated slot.


The sensors are same as it other siblings and they include Fingerprint (side-mounted), face unlock, G-Sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity, and E-compass.


The Infinix Note 7 Lite features a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, 2.0 Micro-USB port, dual-band wifi, Bluetooth 5.0.

It is a dual SIM enabled phone and supports the 4G LTE internet connectivity.


Compared to their predecessor which offer a non-removable 4000mAh Li-Po battery. Note 7 and Note 7 Lite both come with larger 5000mAh Li-Po battery but as opposed to the Note 7 with 18W fast Charging, the Note 7 Lite comes with a 10W fast charger.

Infinix Note 7 Lite Price and Availability

The price of Infinix Note Lite starts at around 67,500 Naira in Nigeria and around 16,999 KSh in Kenya.
